The nagging dad

Last Wednesday, while I was giving Jordan his evening shower, he never stood still. Yeah it was like his usual self.
He was playing with his toy, moving the water from one pail to the other. I asked him not to move too much but he didn’t listen.
Then he jumped and his butt landed on the floor. He didn’t cry as the impact wasn’t that hard, as I also managed to hold his hand.
Anyway, seeing him shaken and numbed, I took the chance to nag at him for not listening to me. He just kept quiet as he knew he had himself to blame.
I continued to nag and nag, saying things like he should start listening to advices and not to test our patience.
The nagging continued outside the bathroom. While I was rubbing Vicks on his chest, still nagging, he suddenly raised his hand and said
“Daddy, can you stop? You talk sooooo long I’m tired already!”
Then it was my turn to get numbed! I was nagging like a mother pulak! Aisey.
I said to him “why? you tired listening to daddy talking so long?”. He nodded.
I continued “then next time you listen to daddy ok?” He nodded again and we hugged.
Gosh, pity Jordan, still 3 years old but his daddy nagged at him like an old grandma. Hahaha.
