10 ways to entertain young children for $1 or less (without the TV)

Date Posted by Jeffrey on July 30, 2007

This is a link from Lifehacker. I am posting this so that I will remember to actually use this tip. Here’s a summary, to read the full tips, go to the site.

  1. Large cardboard boxes
  2. Rubber band and pencil crazy bot
  3. Make a paper popper
  4. Home Depot Kids Workshop
  5. Plant something
  6. Water sprinkler
  7. Bubbles bubbles everywhere
  8. Catch Fireflies
  9. Paper airplanes
  10. Tin can and string telephone

Since we’ve just moved house, we still have loads of large cardboard boxes, we could probably make a castle out of it! Hmmm. Great tip!

This proves how money is not the only thing you need in order to be happy. All you need is just a little imagination.
