Damn Chicken Skins

The other day my wife was down with fever so I had to take over the kitchen duty for the day. So my first task was to get the chicken out from its packaging which I’ve just bought a few hours earlier from a local mart, under the “chicken chop” freezer section on the shelves.

After I opened the package labeled “back quarter”, I got a little bit angry as this business people tricked me, as a consumer. They were stuffing chicken skins underneath the meat, to make it look like the package was full of meat. Instead more than half of them were just chicken skins.

Look at the following pictures to see what I mean. Ohh.. if you’re like not a chicken-skin eater and think they’re nauseating, then don’t go beyond the first picture.

This is how it looks like. There were three parts, I only took out the right-most part, but for this picture I place it back to you can see how it’s displayed on the shelf.

they should label it “Chicken Chop with extra skins”.

the meat with the extra skins - its like almost half of the whole thing!

so the whole chicken skin from the package is more than the meat itself, these are the extras plus with the actual skin that I separated from the meat.

I let the ants take a few bites.

damn you milimewa! i’m not buying anymore meat or fish or whatever from that place - I’ll drive the extra kilometre to CKS now.
