Sorry for this late post, that just shows how busy I was at home since we brought our new ‘package’ from the clinic. This post is broken into 3 pages, so take your time reading it hehe.
Our latest addition to the family arrived a few days ago, on such a good date 28.08.2008 and time too (delivered at 1.08pm). A lot of EIGHTS! Actually, I was hoping for the other good date, 20.08.2008 but that would be too early since our doctor gave us the due date to be on the 27th or 28th. Then I thought she would come on Merdeka Day but alas, she chose yesterday.
Introducing Jewel Trinity!
We named our little bundle of pure joy Jewel Trinity, weighing at 3.15kg with a length of 48.5cm (another 8 hehe), she was delivered through normal procedure at 1.08pm which is around 10 hours after my wife’s water bag broke (3am).
We checked into KK Specialist Centre at 5am after dropping a half-awake Jordan at my in-laws’ place, luckily he understood what was happening - the last thing he told his mommy was “I’ll pray for you and the baby, mommy“. Awwww.
My wife was already 3cm dilated by then, and increased 6cm at 9am. We were a little bit shocked and saddened when the nurse told us that the baby had poo-poo inside, as can be seen from the stain. I was praying that my wife won’t have to go through the c-section.
But after monitoring the baby’s heart, she wasn’t distressed. So there was time to allow for normal delivery.
While in the room, I turned on my laptop and played the movie ‘Made of honor‘ to distract my wife from the pain, while she exercises by squatting and light walking around the bed. When the doctor came in the morning, she said it was a good idea and even asked where/how I got the movie. I confessed about being an online pirate hehe.

i cant help it but i really wanna leave a comment. my eyes were tearing when i heard ur son shouted upon seeing jewel.
i hope my son would the same too when he sees his future bro/sis next year.
