The good doctor asked me to cut the umbilical cord (the first delivery I didn’t do it) and I was quite nervous, it took me three snips to completely cut it. It was hard and looked like white kuey tiaw 
Happy daddy :)
The whole delivery process felt like forever, I’m just glad everything went well. I’m proud of my wife who was really strong in going through all the pain. She even gave a smile to the nurses everytime they ask her if she ‘can tahan’. When the doctor came to start the delivery and asked how my wife was doing, the sister nurse answered ‘ok ah, she even smile throughout’.
Now with the baby out, we just can’t wait to see Jordan’s reaction to her presence. He has been asking if the baby was coming out every single time we go for the pregnancy review. We were very sure he will be extra excited on finally having her baby sister.
I managed to get it on video, view below (I’ll show this to them when they’re a little bit older and start to annoy each other hehehe)

The first night, she stayed with us in the room as we want her to be fully breast-fed and it was a breastfeeding feast until 4am! Jewel just took short stops, between 10 to 30 minutes before crying and asking for milk. It went on until 4am, when finally she slept without anything on her mouth. My wife also finally got her much needed sleep then.
The doctor told us we can go back the next day and we went home at 10 in the morning. We just couldn’t wait to get back and show Jewel her home.
Pheww long post. Well look out for more posts with Jewel as we start a new chapter in our family life!

i cant help it but i really wanna leave a comment. my eyes were tearing when i heard ur son shouted upon seeing jewel.
i hope my son would the same too when he sees his future bro/sis next year.
