7 wonders of the world - my world

Okay so my cousin (the only who dares to shout at me over the phone) tagged me with this 7 wonders thingy. I’m not that “tagging” kinda blogger but since this coming from her, I’ll post this one out (tenguk tu B, spesel kama ni).

7 wonders about me:

1. Emotional
   This is embarassing for me but my tears will drop when I watch heart-wrenching moments in movies. Not sure if fatherhood caused it but I noticed after having children, my heart softened, really really soft. Tears fell down my cheeks when both of my children were born.
2. Addicted to comedies
   Back during my teens, I knew my girlfriend was my soulmate because of the movies that we enjoy watching together. We really, really enjoy comedy movies. I remember on our dates, we were watching taped recordings of “Mind your language”, Wayne’s World, Ace Ventura, Robin Hood - Men in tights and many more. Our good tv night would be watching sitcoms and other funny stuff.
3. Motion sickness sufferer - big time
   I have a serious motion sickness. I can’t ride on a roller-coaster or even watch a documentary about roller-coaster (cuz they always place the camera in front of the machine and let it capture the ride). Not only that, jerky camera movements like those from “Amazing videos” type of show will surely knock me out. Even more serious, I can’t do any 360 degrees turn (which leaves me no chance into signing up for any dancing lessons).
4. Allergic to alcohol
   Not sure if this is a blessing or a curse. My wife accepted it as a blessing as she doesn’t have to worry about me coming home drunk. I am just physically incapable of consuming alcohol - just a sip will turn me into a red monster. Even if I force myself to drink, I cannot taste the good feeling that it should’ve brought - to me they taste just like drain water (not that I’ve ever tasted drain water).
5. Bad actor
   Well not that I want to be an actor. You know there are always people that you don’t like or you don’t want to be around with, but our parents always taught that you have to be nice to everyone. Well if I don’t like that person, I can’t be nice even if I try. Sometimes my wife asked me to act (dia oklah, selalu berlakon waktu sekolah), I cannot act. So if you are near me and I ignore you, that would mean I don’t like you haha.
6. Graphic designer
   Since I was young, I’ve always wanted to be a graphic designer. My dad objected to it. He told me to take up computers science, I had no choice as the check was with him. Looking back at it, probably it was a right decision.
7. In love with my children
   Before becoming a daddy, I didn’t expect the feeling of love towards your children can be so strong and powerful. It is even more powerful when your child showed his love back to you. My favourite moment of the day has to be when my son hugs me every morning as I leave him at his classroom. As his small hands wrap my big frame while saying “I love you daddy and I’m gonna miss you” - the feeling is just undescripable.
