Children’s Liturgy Thanksgiving Mass
Posted by Jeffrey on October 24, 2008
Jordan was involved in last Sunday’s Children’s Thanksgiving Mass at CMI - he was one of the “flower boys”, yes that’s what they call it, since his group’s task was to throw flowers onto the floor while leading the altar boys and the priest when the mass starts.
At first we were told that the kids were to put on their “primary school” attire - means white short-sleeve shirt with dark blue trousers. Since he’s only in kindergarten, we had to go out and buy for him.
However, that Saturday before Sunday, the committee decided that the children can wear any colors for their trousers as some parents are not keen on the white-dark blue theme. Somehow, we were not informed.
But never mind, at least we had a peek into the future of how he will look in his primary school attire
Some more pictures (and 2 videos) after the jump!
Jordan and the flower boys (ai.. sounds like an unsigned indy band)

Jordan on the left, leading the pack.

Waiting for the cue at the entrance of the church. I only managed to record a short few seconds of him in front of the church as there were people blocking my way when I went up to the top level. I don’t think it’s worth posting it up here.
After the mass, there was a gathering/fellowship at the church canteen. There was also a birthday celebration for a girl named Iris. Here she is with her cake and Jordan trying to be near the action (like always).

Then, the kids were asked to do an impromptu performance - I didn’t even know about this. Here’s a clip of it with Jordan in between Rachel’s “team”.
Later, there were 2 girls singing a song and Jordan was having his cake and enjoying the performance. See his gelengan buhus.
