Special day for Jordan

Date Posted by Jeffrey on November 13, 2008

So yesterday Jordan turned 5. Couldn’t believe 5 years ago, at 9.45 in the morning, this tiny body popped out and made us happy with tears. And for every single day after that, the boy we called Jordan brought us so much happiness and smile to our faces.

From his hard dance move to his funny question, he never stopped entertaining us, either on purpose or not. And for the years to come, I’m sure he will continue to be the lively and active boy that we’ve come to love. A few people commented to us, that when he’s a little bit bigger, he will not be this brave and his character will change into a shy boy, especially when he’s more self-conscious.

However, deep inside of me, I hope he doesn’t change. That he will always give a smile to people around him and never afraid of saying hello to our friends and relatives, even if he meets them for the first time. I can confidently tell you that Jordan is well-known in church more than his parents.

Anyway, at school yesterday, we brought a cake for his class and left out digicam with the class teacher. This is what came out of it.

Chocolate cake from Strawberry Cakehouse. We forgot to order 2 Ben10 cake last week adei. Never mind lah, susah juga takut classmates dia jealous hehe.

Jordan surrounded by his classmates - notice that he’s not in uniform because they had been playing with water during recess. Not really sure why only him and another girl needed changing while the rest remain dry. Probably they shot at each other.

*pffffttt*

With his cousin Allyssa (yep, they’re classmates too) and 2 other girls. I think the one on the right is Cherri.

With Rachel (left) and Amanda (extreme right). Sorry I don’t know the other 2.

Not sure why all the boys’ faces sebijik macam surprised+naughty. Only Jordan is posing with a serious face. Oh I know their names, from left Nicholas, Jeremiah (my God-son), si starring, Gabriel, Chong Ka Haw, Benedict (eating Haw’s brain). Not sure about the yawning girl behind.

Jordan with Erica and teacher Aiestley (yes that’s how to spell her name).

I have never spent as much at a kids’ playground as I did at Boo-Boo Land last time: I was shocked that the total cost went to 3 figures.
