Special day for Jordan
Posted by Jeffrey on November 13, 2008
My wife and I also took half-day leave so that we can spend time with Jordan and bring him to the kids amusement centre in 1Borneo. He didn’t know our plan and was surprised by our appearance at the nursery. Actually the unplanned event showed us how Jordan loved his sister so much. When he saw us fetching him, he was thinking baby Jewel would be following as well.
When my wife told him that we were there only to get him, he cried! He says he will miss Jewel and wants us to bring her along. Then we said the playground there is noisy and we don’t think Jewel would enjoy it as much. It took a while for him to “let go” of Jewel inside the car hehe. So sweet la that boy – emotional as well.
So off to 1Borneo we went. You know, this is only my 2nd time being there. With all the buzz of activities and events going on there, I still think it was not worth the petrol, traffic and journey there. I’m still anticipating for a big, cannot-miss event, and for me, that would have to be a big superstar, preferably a hot female celebrity with a lot of exposure in her outfit. Sorry, my male genes took over the keyboard just now.
Anyway, we went for lunch first at New York New York. Our drinks.

Jordan playing with the mocha cream – which he tried and says “emmm nice”. Then I ask “want some more?”, then he answered “no”. Ish – ketara tidak suka.
Sorry we didn’t take any picture of our food. You know lah, no lunch yet and it was nearing 2pm! We were like vultures waiting for the carcass to be served. My hands were already holding the fork and I don’t know how to operate the digicam with my other hand.

My beautiful wife and handsome son. Sometimes I just feel the odd one out in the family of beautiful people heh. I must’ve done something really good in my previous life. Thank God

My attempt at keeping him to keep still for the camera!
Then we went to BooBoo Land – I’m sure the name is scary especially for parents. Every reload is RM10! That is BOO to your wallet.

If God was a toddler, then this is how heaven would look like.

Jordan at the entrance of Boo-Boo Land right before going home.
Here’s a video of him while on a Pirate thingy ride, with water gun some more. Haiya, why lah 1Borneo didn’t open when I was his age. Sorry the video is quite dark.
Later that night, Jordan went to sleep at 8.30pm because he was too tired. You can tell he enjoyed the playground with the amount of sweat on his head. And when we told him it was time to leave, there was no objection – so for sure puas sudah.
It was a good day for him. It is just priceless to hear his laughter and sparkle in his eyes.

I have never spent as much at a kids’ playground as I did at Boo-Boo Land last time: I was shocked that the total cost went to 3 figures.
