The trinity in the Christian sense of religion is that our Father, Son/Jesus and Holy Spirit are one God. They are 3 different persons but are actually One. We cannot understand this as they are Heavenly beings, which we don't have any clear understanding of. Our knowledge is limited to what we see, learn and experience in this world, so obviously we will have a hard time understanding things beyond our world. I can type as much as I want but it will not make sense to anyone. However, though I myself don't understand or cannot explain it, it requires faith to know and believe in it.
