Priceless Chocolate Cake

Last week, our dear friend Didi sent us a cake so that we can taste her legendary baking skills. Actually it was a “sampler” for her cake but it was a giant cake full of chocolatey goodness. I mean, if this giant sweet goodness is the sampler, I’ll line up for hours to get my hands on the real thing! See what Didi sent us:

Yes she sent us the full package. Luckily there was no invoice at the back of the box.

It seemed like she was determined to get me off my dieting track (I was inspired to diet after watching the finale of “The Biggest Loser” on astro but now my inspiration has been taken over by this brown monster that was begging to be eaten).

How can anyone say no to this?

Of course we really enjoyed it, the three of us. Even Jewel was begging for some, actually she was curious what we were doing all munching something on the table and she kept hitting my legs with her walker.

See her sweaty forehead and minta-kesian face. Sorry the picture is blurry, apparently gushing tons of chocolate down your throat can throw  you off your balance and make your hands shaky since you will want more.

Anyway, thanks Di for the super wonderful cake. If you have any more new recipes you want to try, please do send us the sample again ya!
