Jewel is turning 2!

Wow.. 4 more days to go and our little princess Jewel will be turning 2! Yeah time flies so fast and probably soon she’ll be screaming for us to buy her a Barbie doll.

I can’t blame her though, I have to admit that we didn’t buy her as many toys if compared with Jordan. The playroom is already filled with her brother’s toys and it seems that every time she toppled and scattered all the toys from one of the boxes, she’s bound to find one “new” toy that she hasn’t played yet.

Half of the time though it will be out of batteries. If it’s an action figure, most probably one of the arm has been detached in its many battles with other toys and if it has fur or plastic hair, little bits of crayons will be among its dandruff. Other times you’d find the missing arm deep in the tangled mess of hair.

And more than half of the time, the toys would somehow be related to Ben 10.

Maybe for her birthday we can shower her with loads of girly toys. My wife and I was thinking of getting her a tricycle since she likes to ride Jordan’s bike which is too big for her.

Well whatever it is, at least she’s still young to be fascinated by any toy. I guess it doesn’t even have to be a toy, even if we give her something that is completely opposite like a wallet or something, she will find ways to play with it.

I think our budget will determine what we will buy for her.

Anyway, check out the following video. This is from 90s group Toy-Box with their song Best Friend. This is Jewel’s super-favourite song currently, whenever we’re in the car, she would ask me to repeat the song EVERYTIME on the mp3 player. One time while sending Jordan to school, we heard the song 6 times in a row!

She call this song “HOO HAA” and she would say “Daddy… Hoo haa? Hoo haa?”. It’s the opening lines for the song.
