Jordan likes to dance. I mean, really really likes to dance. While watching tv, if suddenly there’s a hot beat on air, he will be dancing in front of us without any warning. So last Saturday, while attending a wedding function, the dance floor was open.
So Jordan needs no invitation to dance. He danced like nobody’s business close to half an hour. What I’ve uploaded is just a sample. I was kicking myself for forgetting to bring my digital cam, all I had was my nokia handphone. I saw another lady was taking videos of Jordan dancing too, so if you come across it on youtube (or anywhere else), let me know.
Okay, watch the video below and tell me, he got talent or what? Hehehe.
.. and yes, the occasional cheer from the table was for him.
Looks like someone was in a bad mood when this was taken hehehe.
Baby : Aiyaaa… is it review time again? What does a foetus needs to do to get some sleep around here?
This 4D (not 4D lottery ah) print out was taken last Saturday, 5th July 2008. You know why they call it 4D ah? Cuz it’s a series of “moving” 3D images that allows the doctor and patients to see the 3D in real-time.
Eh that means, when printed it’s back to 3D. Oh well - never mind.
Doctor and Jo said the lips looks like me. Ya ka? Hehehe.
Wooppsss.. sorry no update on the new baby. Jo’s pregnancy review is already on a bi-weekly basis and she will deliver within 2 months! Wow how time flies. Jordan is the most excited, he can’t wait to see the new baby!
While for us, it’s the usual anxiety and worries. We just pray to God that everything will go on smoothly, especially for the mommy and baby.
Here are some scans of the baby. First off, the face. Can you guess which one is Jordan and which is the new baby?
Answered already? Okay Jordan is on the right but their cheeks look the same right? Like humpty dumpty oh. The doc said follow like me heehee.
The baby on the left is showing some nice pose, with the hands below the chin hehe.
Here are the happy feet!
2 weeks ago the baby didn’t show the face, only the feet. Check out the bottom of the feet on the left and the 3D scan on the right.
Not sure the feet follow whose.. mine or my wife hehehe.
Last week, Jordan was chosen to be the flag bearer while the school sings the Negaraku during morning assembly. We weren’t there to witness it but my ex-colleague who sent his son to school late that morning, managed to capture a couple of pictures (see, lambat also got its benefits).
There my son Jordan in front with the Malaysia flag.
Close-up hehe
Uiseyy shy-shy lagi dia konon hehe.
I can’t remember if I was given the chance of holding a flag of any kind when I was in kindergaten. My parents said I was really shy when I was little. Probably the teachers knew I’d piss in my pants if they asked me to do it.
Thanks to my buddy Alex for taking the time to snap the photos above and prolong his office check-in by a few minutes.
This post remained in my draft for over 6 months, it’s a collection of Jordan’s quips which I added when there are “new” stuff. You know lah they say, kids say the darnest things.
So here are some of Jordan’s recent replies to his mommy and daddy and also people around him.
“because I cannot stop!” - his answer when I asked him why he didn’t wait for me while we were going to the washroom at church. He was running and zig-zagging through people that I lost sight of him.
“why Jesus always ask for money?” - he asked this once when it was time for collection in church.
“not chicken that - rooster bah” - he corrected his mommy when she said the neighbour’s “chicken” crowed.
“I didn’t draw that - I color only” - he corrected me after I said it was a nice drawing by him. True enough, it was a coloring page.
“It’s not tail - it’s my hair!” - he corrected an auntie at church who commented on his “pony-tail”.
“Yes - I know” - he replied to an uncle also at church, who told him that Jesus loves him.
Some words which surprised us recently.
“Wow. So nice - I’ve never seen that before!” - he exclaimed when he saw the new mirror in the guest bathroom.
“Come in here daddy - this is so comfy” - as he invited me to his house of box.
“Handphone also got big, small and medium ah?” - We were discussing about handphones. I think I learned the word ‘medium’ only after I started to buy food from KFC during my teens. Jordan started early.
